In his hometown of Basel where he is a resident at techno institution Elysia, Garcon’s name is synonymous with extended, expertly structured DJ sets rich in nuance and intensity. Co-owner of Amenthia Recordings with long-time collaborator Agonis, the two have shared the unique artistic vision embodied by their label. Combining elements that span a diverse musical landscape, Garçon’s mixes tend to be rhythmically, texturally and stylistically diverse, grounded in techno but always delving deeper and further afield. His Patterns of Perception 38 is no exception.
